below are images from an abandoned school found in northern minnesota, in the spring of 2023. this building appeared to be built in the early 20th century, and educated people that are most likely not with us anymore. it gave me an impression of mortality i had not yet encountered, one separate from physical death and yet strikingly close in emotion.
